For over a decade, Kermode Consulting has been my passion. While formally incorporated in 2014, I’ve served as a change specialist for many years. My journey to the North in 2009 as a First Nations consultant and Trustee was a pivotal step, leading to roles as President of the Yukon First Nation Chamber of Commerce and CEO of Chief Isaac Group of Companies, the development corporation of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in, of which I am a member.
Kermode Consulting has forged strong relationships with industry and governments, advocating for policies that raised awareness of critical northern issues related to local procurement and private sector development in Yukon. We have also played a crucial role in national marketing campaigns that highlight the advancement of Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs, partnering with industry to make the North an attractive destination for investment and talent.
But our work doesn’t stop there. Kermode Consulting has established itself as a key intermediary, facilitating productive dialogue between Indigenous communities and industry. We champion the cause of responsible projects, creating bridges that transcend the past and provide a sustainable path forward.
